Educate Together Prospectus worked with the national office, a representative group of the national executive and activists to recommend suitable governance and management processes for the organisation as it developed and became a major player in the educational sector.
Cheshire Ireland Prospectus assisted the management team to devise a strategy to support the future development and evolving role of the organisation. This involved a review of best practice and extensive consultation with identified stakeholders.
Carmichael Centre Prospectus developed a three-year strategic plan for the centre. This involved consultation with stakeholders, facilitation of Board workshops and the drafting of the plan.
Atlantic Philanthropies Prospectus facilitated a working group consisting of voluntary organisations in the aged sector (sponsored by the philanthropic organisation) to identify ways in which the voluntary sector could be strengthened and could work together more effectively. Prospectus conducted a market overview of the full range of services (public and private) available to older people with a view to identifying gaps or areas of opportunity which should be explored, and potentially funded, by the philanthropic organisation. Prospectus subsequently conducted an international review of best practice in relation to projects enabling older people to stay at home or in their own community.
Society of St Vincent de Paul Prospectus conducted a review of head office structures (management positions, committees, roles etc.) and developed recommendations on how the head office should support the role of the voluntary committees.
Irish Centre for Social Gerontology, National University of Ireland Galway Prospectus assisted the Directors of this newly established research centre in developing a three-year business plan and defining appropriate governance and staffing arrangements for the centre, taking into consideration best practice and existing academic structures.
The Ireland Funds Prospectus conducted an overview of the philanthropic and not-for-profit sectors in Ireland in order to identify future development opportunities for The Ireland Funds. This involved desk research and in-depth interviews with Irish donors, government representatives and other foundations.
